What are the warning signs that you might have diabetes?

If you're somebody who's concerned about diabetes, you may be wondering if there any warning signs that can help you better detect whether or not you're starting to have symptoms of this disease. It's not a bad question to be asking, because the simple fact is that the more informed you are about your overall health and wellness, the more you can do to help yourself heal and to lead a healthier lifestyle.

Generally speaking, if you feel tingling in your hands and feet, feel an extreme amount of fatigue, have blurry vision, or otherwise seem to always feel hungry these are all potential indicators that you might have diabetes. However, it's important to realize that these are symptoms that need to persist for a period of time before they really mean something.

Let's face it, we all have days where we feel extremely tired by the end of it. There are also times when we might feel a slight tingle in our hands and feet, or when we might momentarily experience blurry vision. However, if these types of symptoms persist for a number of days or weeks, you really need to start taking it seriously.

That being said, it's not like you have to become panic stricken, what it means is that you should go and see your doctor and get a simple blood test performed to determine what your blood sugar level happens to be. This type of test will typically be conducted after you have fasted for approximately 8 hours. This means no food, although you are typically allowed to drink water.

If you have some suspicion or concern that you may be suffering with diabetes, then it definitely makes sense to immediately begin looking at the type of food you're eating, and the amount of exercise you're getting on a daily basis.

You could actually reverse the effects of type II diabetes which happens to be the most prevalent form of diabetes in 30 days or less through diet and exercise. So don't let the warning signs of diabetes pass you by, take them as an opportunity to start modifying the type of lifestyle you're leading, so that you can live a very long and healthy life.
